We call our monthly meetings Open Meetings because they are open to members and potential members alike.

We meet monthly except August on the fourth Thursday in the month at 2pm in the Baptist Church Hall Melton Road just by the the traffic lights on the corner of Musters Road.

 These meetings usually involve a speaker together with some discussion about new U3A  activities, We also provide information on our display boards. Group Leaders frequently attend, providing notices  and the opportunity for new members to enquire about the groups and sign up for the activities. You can discus what is happening with existing members . We also provide tea and coffee.

We have has some really exceptional speakers over the years who have have had the audience spell bound. They are all experienced public speakers whose  talks have a widespread appeal. We have had representatives form the Air Ambulance Service, East Midlands Airport and Hayward House - a local hospice who have enriched our understanding of our area.
